           Seminar applicants selection is made by the USFITF or by a donor.

Participants

             USFITF invites Students, Professors, Teachers, as well as people with disabilities working in the social public projects, to join one of the Seminars “What is the USA?”.

 

            The seminars take place in the United States through three programs: Pacific, Mountain and Atlantic Belts during the year.

            The language of the seminars is the language as close as possible to the main language of the native country of the participants.

            Participation in the Seminars is free of charge.

            If someone requires money from applicants for participating of the seminar in excess of those specified in this article, as well as in addition to the terms of contracts with representatives of USFITF, these are illegal requirements.

            Be sure to notify USFITF officers if someone requires money from applicants for participating of the seminar.

 

            USFITF pays for flights, accommodation, meals, transportation, excursions, lectures, visits of nature reserves. Participants pay only for the consular fee of visa, medical insurance, a tip to the guide and pocket expenses, as well as single accommodation in hotels, if any.

 

            To join the seminar, the applicant should:

- fill out Application

- register for the contest (if the application is approved) in My Account

- submit documents for the competition (at the request of USFITF)

- pass an interview (if the documents approved)

- get an entry visa to the USA (under the guarantee of USFITF)

- purchase travel insurance

- get the necessary documents from USFITF employees

- arrive at the airport and travel to the USA.

 

             Upon completion of the Seminar, the student receives a "Certificate of Completion".

 

             Seminar participants can be:

 

- Teachers and University professors:

            Age: 30-60.

            Length of service: At least 8 years.

            Teaching plan: At least 20 academic hours per week.

 

- Students:

            Age: 21-35.

            Course: Full-time 3rd grade or higher.

 

- Disabled:

            Age: 21-50.

            Working in the social public projects.

            Disability status: Chronic, with the person having been disabled for at least 5 years.

            Income: Not more than $1000 per month per family.

            Minimum requirements: The disabled individuals must have the ability to see and hear seminar instructors.
